Isaac Mazor
Chief Executive Officer

Isaac has served as founder and CEO of Jordan Valley Semiconductors since the mid 1990s, and is the co-inventor of many Jordan Valley patents. Prior to forming Jordan Valley, Isaac was a key partner in the founding of KLA-Israel's overlay business as a VP of Engineering and New Business Development. For three years of his tenure at KLA-Israel, he was located in the United States, where he co-authored KLA-Israel's most important patent for CPM technology and a key patent for overlay. From 1978 to 1986, he was the engineering manager for the wafer dicing division of Kulick & Soffa-Israel, at which time he and his team were awarded the Rothschild Prize in 1985. During the early 1990s, Isaac was a founder and a seed investor of SELA-the leader in sample preparation for failure analysis.

Isaac received a B.Sc. and M. Sc. with honors in electrical engineering from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and holds an Executive MBA from Stanford University.

Israel Niv, Ph.D.
Chairman of the Board

In addition to his position as Chairman of the Board, Israel Niv also serves on the board of PGSP (Pacific Graduate School of Psychology) - an academic institution affiliated with Stanford-and is advisor to several start-ups, as well as the investment group Silicon Ventures.

In 1998 Israel co-founded and was named chairman of Optonics, which he later sold to Credence Systems in late 2002. He then served as a President and General Manager of their Diagnostics and Characterization Group (DCG). Israel also co-founded Opal Inc., a semiconductor equipment company, in December 1986. He served as the Vice President of Research and Development and later as the General Manager & Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He served on Opal's Board of Directors beginning in 1994 and was part of a three-person team that took Opal public in 1995. He was named a Vice President at Applied Materials when it acquired Opal in late 1996. Prior to Opal, Israel was a senior physicist at Optrotech (currently Orbotech), the world leader in PCB and FPD inspection.

Israel received his B.Sc. in Chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Amos Gvirtzman
Chief Operating Officer

Amos Gvirtzman has more than 20 years of management experience in the analytic market. In addition to the management positions he holds at Jordan Valley, he has been extensively involved in both the development and sales of the company's products. Amos possesses a depth of experience in x-ray technology, worldwide marketing, and business management.

Amos holds a B.Sc. with honors in Electrical Engineering from Case Institute of Technology.

Avi Lifshitz
Chief Financial Officer

Avi Lifshitz has been at the helm of Jordan Valley's financial efforts for the past ten years. He is a partner in the certified public accounting firm of Meiri-Lifshitz and has 20 years' experience in accounting, finance and business management. He lectures at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology where he won an award for excellence in 1998.

Avi is certified as a public accountant in Israel and holds a B.A. in economics and accounting from Haifa University.

Sean Jameson
Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Sean Jameson has been Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Jordan Valley since 2001. He has over 18 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing technologies, with more than 15 of those years dedicated to thin-film metrology. Prior to Jordan Valley, Sean spent approximately ten years with Prometrix, Tencor, KLA-Tencor. During that time he held positions as Applications Manager, Field Marketing for the Film and Surface Technologies Group, Technical Director, and Senior Account Manager.

Sean received his B.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics from Texas State University.

Boris Yokhin, Ph. D.
Chief Technology Officer

Boris Yokhin has served with Jordan Valley since 1995, first as Senior Physicist and currently as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to his tenure at Jordan Valley, Boris accrued more than 20 years of research and development experience in nuclear physics and x-ray technologies. He held the position of Senior Science Fellow at the Radium Institute in Leningrad, Russia.

Boris holds an M.S. degree in nuclear physics from Leningrad University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Radium Institute. He is the author of 22 patents and over 30 published scientific papers.
